Back in 2008, in the early days of Twitter and Facebook, I was coaching creatives on how to set up and use social media. In the fast-changing world of Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn it remains a special art how to communicate well via tweets and posts. But now with the rise of visuals in our tried-and-true social media and in new ones like YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and Slideshare, communication has to be much more than written words.

Luckily, I love this intersection of words & images and how the digital tools are right at hand for creating what we need quickly and inexpensively.
